Founded by Dr. Eric Schmidt, the Special Competitive Studies Project (SCSP) is a 501(c)3 private foundation tasked with making recommendations to strengthen America’s long-term global competitiveness for a future where artificial intelligence (AI) and other emerging technologies reshape our global strategic environment.
The Associate Content Producer will develop and produce engaging digital content to support SCSP's mission and online presence. This includes creating recorded segments, interviews, promotional videos, and highlight reels, as well as optimizing videos for different platforms. The ideal candidate has experience in digital content creation and production, proficiency in video editing software, and a strong understanding of video formats and optimization techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Video Content Creation: Develop and produce engaging video content, including recorded segments, interviews, promotional videos, and more, to support SCSP's mission and online presence.
- Post-Production Editing: Edit and refine video footage to create compelling narratives, ensuring high-quality audio and video.
- Highlight Reels: Craft captivating highlight reels for social media, showcasing the best moments and key takeaways from SCSP events and initiatives.
- Video Optimization: Optimize videos for different platforms and formats, ensuring optimal viewing experience across various devices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Social Media Strategist and Graphic Designer/Animator to ensure video content aligns with overall branding and campaign goals.
- Technical Expertise: Manage video equipment setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure a seamless production process. Stay updated on the latest video production technologies and trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in video content creation and production, from concept development to final delivery.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
- Strong understanding of video formats, streaming, and optimization techniques for various platforms.
- Creative eye for storytelling and the ability to craft engaging narratives through video.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Hands-on experience with video equipment setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting preferred.
- Knowledge of current and emerging video production technologies and trends.
