Summary of Position:
Oversees all aspects of product demand, forecasting, and supply chain activities associated with Scholar Rock products. Manage the supply chain life cycle from the development and implementation of the strategic and tactical plans for the forecasting models through supply chain planning with Scholar Rock’s Technical Operations team and manufacturing partners for all of Scholar Rock’s products. This role requires a proven track record in product launch, supply chain and life cycle management planning, operations, and supplier and vendor management.
Position Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage purchasing, planning, and supply chain strategies to improve process efficiency, reduce costs, increase performance, and support Scholar Rock’s overall goals and objectives
- Direct demand development and supply chain planning/forecasting for launch and beyond
- Direct product fulfillment activities associated with base demand, major events and transitions, with an emphasis on new product launches (both US and ex-US) and on product life cycle management and associated phase-in/phase-out requirements
- Direct and oversee inventory control system to maintain optimal stock levels, reduce wastage, and improve cash flow
- Ability to manage multiple SKUs
- Monitor inventory levels and production capacity to ensure alignment with forecasted commercial and clinical demands
- Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity
- Lead Scholar Rock’s S&OP process to present and align sales, supply chain, and financial goals
- Support product complaints and Regulatory submissions as necessary
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, supply chain, finance, and sales to align operational forecasts with business objectives

Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific discipline
- Minimum 15 years of relevant supply chain experience
- Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, including demand planning, launch experience, logistics, and inventory management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions. Proven capability in executive reporting and effective communication with senior leadership
- Working knowledge of cGMPs and pharma industry procedures and regulations
- Experience working with FDA and other global health authorities
