Scismic is supporting the growth of an RNA therapeutics startup. As Research Associate, you will develop our best-in-class proprietary RNA expression and delivery platform. The ideal candidate is a motivated individual that can execute experiments with efficiency and creativity. They will support the design and execution of experiments; possess strong oral and written communication capabilities; demonstrate excellent collaboration & interpersonal skills; and be adept at problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

 Responsibilities

●     Formulate various novel RNA encapsulated nanoparticles

●     Characterize nanoparticles for sizing, encapsulation efficiency, and zeta potential

●     Actively collaborate with molecular biology team providing formulation and analysis support for in vivo studies

●     Execute assays to provide critical information for future studies

●     Collaborate with supervisor and delivery team on results and experiment planning

●     Participate in lab organization and inventory

●     BS/MS in chemical/biomedical engineering, chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences or relevant field.

●     1 – 3+ years of laboratory or industry experience is a desired

●     Experience in formulation is a plus
