About the role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Head of Sales to join our team. The incoming Head of Sales will be responsible for building and leading the sales process and team from start to close. This person will set goals, mentor and coach the sales team, collaborate with the leadership team, and stay current on industry trends.

Qualifications:

    • 8+ years of experience in B2B sales experience with complex, high ACV, enterprise customers
    • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and meeting or exceeding sales targets
    • Strong analytical skills and experience using data and CRM to inform decision-making
    • Demonstrated ability to thrive in high-growth scenarios with systems and processes 
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
    • VR/AR, HR, or Training industry experience is a plus. 

Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage a small sales team, including setting goals, providing coaching and support, and conducting performance evaluations
    • Act as a front-line sales leader, while supporting the success of the entire sales team
    • Develop a robust sales funnel through outbound prospecting, referrals, industry partnerships, state-level opportunities, and marketing qualified leads
    • Manage leads and opportunities, collaborating with colleagues in marketing, product, and leadership as appropriate
    • Collaborate with marketing to develop an efficient sales-marketing funnel and establish aligned strategies for lead generation and sales enablement materials
    • Achieve Scope AR’s new business goals while providing ongoing metrics and forecasting to track progress and accountability and optimize sales efforts
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, and bring new ideas to the table
