Seeking a results-driven Plant Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations at our Jacksonville facility. This hands-on leadership role will oversee approximately 50 employees across two locations (main plant and warehouse/cable production) and one shift. The ideal candidate has experience in metal stamping, press operations, KPI implementation, and team development—and is eager to drive continuous improvement and automation in a high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities:.
Operations Management
Lead and manage operations across 8 stamping presses, cold heading, lasers, bending machines, and in-house tool & die maintenance.
Oversee two sites: main production (approx. 30 people) and cable production warehouse (approx. 20 people).
Maintain one daytime shift with full responsibility for production performance and team scheduling.
Ensure daily production goals are met, proactively managing delays and ensuring accountability.
Team & Leadership
Supervise and mentor production staff, including supervisors and team leads (to be developed).
Conduct performance reviews, build team structure, and oversee hiring, coaching, and discipline.
Foster a culture of safety, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Process Improvement & KPI
sImplement digital KPI tracking across all equipment (currently paper-based) with real-time monitoring and visual management.
Lead quick die change projects and support press automation initiatives (e.g., box making, labeling, palletizing).
Reduce downtime, improve throughput, and champion lean manufacturing principles.
Quality & Compliance
Maintain product quality through SOPs and inspection processes.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
Collaborate on R&D for new product introductions, assessing compatibility with existing equipment.
Qualifications:
5+ years in plant or production management, ideally with press operation and metal fabrication experience.
Experience leading manufacturing teams and implementing KPIs or lean tools.
Background in automation and quick die change is strongly preferred.
Experience with competitors such as Simpson or MiTek is a plus.
Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
Bachelor’s degree preferred (Engineering, Manufacturing, or related).

Compensation & Schedule:Salary:
$120K–$130K, depending on experience
Full-time, on-site (Mon–Fri)
No bonus currently, but strong growth potential within the organization
