Position Summary
In this dynamic role, you will support and improve supply chain operations by contributing to the development of standard operating procedures and acting as a key liaison between the Purchasing Team and the internal IT Applications Integrator. You’ll help resolve system-related issues and promote clear communication across departments.
Additionally, you will lead system training for new Procurement Agents, manage a library of system reports, and contribute to the continuous improvement of tools and processes that drive efficiency in procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with the development and implementation of supply chain management strategies to improve supplier performance and reduce total cost to the organization.
Support the creation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotes (RFQs) across various categories as assigned.
Coordinate and facilitate product reviews during the RFP/RFQ process, ensuring objectivity and fairness in evaluation.
Negotiate and oversee strategic contracts, ensuring cost efficiency and logistical effectiveness.
Monitor contract compliance and maximize the effectiveness of strategic agreements.
Identify and execute sourcing initiatives that span the enterprise.
Partner with internal stakeholders to implement awarded sourcing solutions.
Track and document procurement metrics such as cost savings and cost avoidance.
Recommend and support enhancements to purchasing systems aimed at minimizing fragmented spend and transaction costs.
Prepare and deliver weekly departmental status and operations reports.
Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
Provide timely, efficient, and courteous service to all internal customers.
Maintain and update standard operating procedures for Purchasing, Warehouse, and related departments, ensuring policy compliance.
Triage system inquiries from the Purchasing team and coordinate with the IT Applications Integrator for resolution.
Train new team members on system use including generating purchase orders, performing lookups, and running standard reports.
Develop and maintain a centralized system report library.
Ensure adherence to established procedures and proactively address any deviations.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a supply chain role; industry experience in hospitality or gaming is a plus.
Proven experience in sourcing strategies that achieve cost savings while maintaining product/service quality.
Strong financial, business, and negotiation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Proficient in analyzing data and creating executive-level summaries and detailed supplier assessments.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply logic across a broad range of challenges.
Familiarity with world-class sourcing tools and their implementation.
Working knowledge of contract law and procurement compliance.
