Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Repair Station Manager to lead the overhaul and repair operations within a regulated aerospace or defense maintenance environment. This leadership role is responsible for managing daily execution across production planning, customer service coordination, and regulatory compliance—ensuring delivery, revenue, and quality goals are consistently achieved.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of FAA and/or military aviation maintenance protocols, a strong command of cross-functional coordination, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across operations.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage short-term and long-term production plans using backlog and repair tracking data.
Establish daily priorities in coordination with Business Unit and Customer Service teams.
Review work orders, routings, and inspection records to ensure alignment with delivery and revenue targets.
Generate and distribute operational dashboards and production reports (daily, weekly, monthly) to monitor performance and identify bottlenecks.
Serve as the designated government property custodian, overseeing audits, inventory, and compliance under relevant regulatory guidelines (e.g., DFARS, FAA).
Review repair contracts and purchase orders to ensure pricing and delivery adherence.
Execute departmental documentation procedures per internal company policy and FAA repair station standards.
Lead or support corrective action initiatives using root cause and risk-based frameworks.
Approve, revise, and author operational documentation related to repair activities.
Ensure timely and accurate entry and maintenance of data in ERP and repair tracking systems.
Perform internal audits to validate operational compliance and identify process improvement opportunities.
Implement lean manufacturing practices throughout repair operations.
Participate in pre-inspection record reviews (PIT) to ensure quality readiness.
Interact directly with customer portals for shipping and order management.
Provide backup support in adjacent operations where required.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Direct oversight of the Repair Supervisor and associated labor force.
Leadership responsibility for planning and materials personnel supporting overhaul and repair.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
Frequent coordination required with:
Testing, Inspection, and Quality teams
Materials, Shipping, and Receiving departments
Engineering and Technical Support
Finance and Marketing stakeholders

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Proven success in managing FAA or military aviation repair environments.
Experience working with government contracts and surveillance protocols.
Familiarity with FAA, DoD, and commercial aviation documentation and compliance.
Materials management experience in an aviation MRO (maintenance, repair, overhaul) setting is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills (written and oral).
Demonstrated ability to prioritize, organize, and execute with minimal oversight.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, AS9100, and ISO14000 standards is a plus.
$100,000 - $125,000 a year
