About the Role
The Assistant Finance Administrator manages client invoicing and payments in our fast-paced accounting department using our proprietary customer billing software platform. This is a client-facing role with high-volume daily email correspondence and moderate phone activity. In addition to the daily traffic workload, you will have quarterly goals for collections, account maintenance, data analysis, and book of business growth.

    • Manage client invoices and payments
    • Respond to both client and internal requests quickly and with high-quality communication
    • Participate in a significant amount of inter-departmental coordination with our account managers and sales representatives
    • Perform data entry/generation with high attention to detail and accuracy
    • Participate in goal-driven opportunities to boost performance and encourage team members to hit their goals

Who you are and what you bring

    • 6 months - 1 year of billing and collections experience or equivalent relevant higher education experience in payroll/accounting courses
    • Highly recommend previous finance internships in a corporate environment or 2+ years of customer service experience
    • Technology: Savvy with ERP & CRM systems (QuickBooks, Salesforce, MS Dynamics, NetSuite, etc), Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Google Sheets & Docs, Basic Adobe Acrobat functionality, and Familiarity with Sage Intacct or similar software
    • 10-key by touch
    • Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Excellent organization, analytic, and communication skills
    • Team-oriented and hands-on

Compensation

    • We acknowledge that states have passed legislation promoting pay transparency.  As a national employer, Scorpion has made the decision to post our expected pay rate or pay range (as applicable) in all our job postings, regardless of geographic location.
    • The base salary range is $50,000 (entry-level) - $55,000 (highly experienced), exclusive of fringe benefits. If you are hired at Scorpion, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
    • The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses or commissions.
