About the team and role

We are looking for a product marketing manager to fill a unique position within the PMM team. Working closely with marketing, product and the content acquisition team you will lead the day to day management and execution of marketing campaigns that bring our in-house developed Scribd ebooks and audiobook titles to market. 
You will be responsible for developing insight driven marketing campaigns that inspire cross-functional teams, drives big thinking and promotes our Scribd imprints across a variety of touchpoints. 

About you 

- You are collaborative. You know how to work closely within your own team but seek to collaborate with partners across the org.
- You have a passion for and experience in the digital and audio book world.
- You keep current with what is happening in social media in order to inform culturally relevant campaigns. 
- You have an appreciation for working within tech and understanding of content platforms.
- You are quantitatively and qualitatively savvy.
- You know how to interpret data and use it to inform your thinking.

What you will do

- Develop the positioning, messaging and go to market strategy for our Scribd imprints, 
- Serve as the marketing point of contact for our content acquisition teams, talent and talent managers.
- Work with the product and design teams to support the merchandising of our Scribd imprints on our owned properties.
- Partner and coordinate with the creative, marketing and analytics to execute, measure and reports the success of individual campaigns
- Perform market analysis to develop strategic, insight-driven content acquisition recommendations, by developing a deep understanding of readers and listeners’ needs, the competitive landscape and overall industry trends


- 4-6 years of experience in product marketing, brand marketing or campaign management
- Having experience working in media or in the publishing industry
- Have a growth mindset and strong desire to learn, grow, and take on new challenges
- Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Experience working with talent a plus
At Scribd, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location. San Francisco is our highest geographic market in the United States. In the state of California, the reasonably expected salary range is between $117,500 [minimum salary in our lowest geographic market within California] to $174,750[maximum salary in our highest geographic market within California].

Outside of California, the reasonably expected salary range is between $97,000 [minimum salary in our lowest US geographic market outside of California] to $166,000 [maximum salary in our highest US geographic market outside of California].

We carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including but not limited to experience; job-related skill sets; relevant education or training; and other business and organizational needs. The salary range listed is for the level at which this job has been scoped. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply. This position is also eligible for a competitive equity ownership, and a comprehensive and generous benefits package.
