This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance manager to join our exciting team and support the Financial Controller in managing the finance team while improving the month-end processes for SCW’s global entities.
This role will be critical to ensuring the effective management of critical financial reporting to business and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage month-end and produce consolidated financials.
- Guide and manage team members
- Supporting the financial controller with audit and other requests
- Constantly review procedures and processes, think about incremental process improvements
- Be involved in ad hoc & special projects
About You:
- 2+ years of experience as a finance manager and 5+ years in accounting
- Bachelor or Master's Degree in Accounting and CA or CPA qualified
- Experience in consolidation of accounts
- Experience dealing with foreign currencies
- Good technical knowledge of IFRS, AASB
- SaaS / tech sector experience with knowledge of key SaaS metrics
- Must have experience with Xero,
- Nice to have experience with Expensify, Tripaction, Mosaic but not mandatory
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills are required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn quickly
