VP Platform (Flexible Remote Policy)

We’re looking for a VP Platform to lead and manage our Infrastructure, Productivity & Reliability Engineering, and DevOps Team, who will be responsible for the run of our existing platform.

This team of 20 people across 3 of our offices is responsible for building and maintaining the whole infrastructure, scaling the platform and ensuring its stability and performance, as well as building the good practices and the tools to ensure the fastest delivery, while maintaining the highest quality standard. 

By working closely with our VP Engineering, you will also manage the Head of Engineering and the Global Head of Platform.


    • Inspire, lead and grow the Infrastructure, Productivity & Reliability Engineering and DevOps team.
    • Understand goals through working closely with the VP Engineering and the CPO to achieve business targets, make the right technical decisions, and organize the work of platform engineering teams. 
    • Manage product milestones, deployment cycles & overall product roadmap.
    • Maintain Code Quality, Implement Standards & improve overall understanding.
    • Structure the teams, define processes, ensure good communication and collaboration across teams, recruit the best profiles on the market and make sure to retain them.
    • Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community.
    • Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organisation, and diversity.
    • Track record working as engineer, capable of working hands-on, discussing and working together with the team to enrich the outcome of technical topics around platform engineering, leading by example. 
    • Embody the company's values, lead by example and maintain our outstanding working culture based on trust, empowerment and supportive leadership.
    • Coach managers to help them grow in their role and to take higher responsibilities to ensure an efficient growth of the company, and encourage them to coach their team members.

Our technical stack

    • Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Rancher, RabbitMQ, Docker, Envoy, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Golang, Kafka, Nginx, HAProxy, Clickhouse, Redis cluster & sentinel, DataDog, Zookeeper


    • At least 10+ years of experience in product based organisations with web technologies.
    • Work experience in multicultural environments with remote team.
    • Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions.
    • Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems.
    • Experience in production with running large distributed systems.
    • Ability to pick up new technology concepts on the fly and discuss with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Advanced knowledge in CI/CD, MongoDB, Docker.
    • Excellent team-building and team-management skills - open-mindedness to understand team members’ motivations, hopes and problems, ability to inspire them and develop their skills and responsibilities, while building trustworthy relationships with them.
    • Excellent English and strong experience in a multicultural environment and managing remote teams - another language will be appreciated such as Hindi, German or French.
