As an Engineering Manager, you will coach and empower a team of highly motivated and talented developers You’ll collaborate with the product owners and product managers to understand their requirements, design the technical architecture, build a roadmap, and organize the developments to deliver the product.


    • Ownership of a full-fledged large scale internet product including Back-end & Front-end
    • Complete responsibility of all stages of software development life cycle - understanding of business and customer problems, requirement analysis, scalable and reliable solution/architecture, detailed (high-level & low-level) design, coding & unit testing, detailed test planning with QA, post-production bugs fixes. Proper documentation, reviews, checklists, change management, and task/release tracking
    • Solely responsible for solution/design of a new product or feature
    • Work closely with product owners to have a clear understanding of how the product is performing and what needs to be done.
    • Provide substantial technology and functional inputs to the developers on a regular basis to aid in the better evolution of the product.

People Management:

    • Lead a team (8-12 members) of developers organized in squads (feature teams) of 3-4 members with different technical expertise and level
    • Responsible to maintain a cordial working relationship and conducive culture within the team
    • As per the HR processes, appraise team members with timely feedback and guidance
    • Complete knowledge and awareness about the abilities, skill level, quality, and concerns of each team member. Do proper growth planning for each team member
    • Establish and drive software processes within the engineering team. Contribute at the company level to establish best practices to improve the quality of the product
    • Maintain a highly positive attitude and conducive working relationship with peers
    • Keep updated about technology advancements
    • Share the knowledge with team members and peers regularly

What we are looking for:

    • Strong NodeJS experience.
    • 8+ Years of experience in Software Development
    • 3+ years experience in a team lead or management position. Led a team of at least 5-8 members;
    • Hands-on experience in designing solutions (data structure, design patterns, algorithm...), high-quality coding, Unit, and integration testing
    • Hands-on experience on at least 1 monitoring and an alerting tool like Datadog, New Relic, Prometheus
    • Experience in Agile development methodology and continuous software development lifecycle processes
    • Strong communication skills
