Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement Docker & Kubernetes based deployments
- Partner with development teams to resolve issues and improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures
- Build monitoring tools to alert about anomalies, system degradation, and outages
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience in DevOps, or related IT, computer, or operations field
- Ability to program using a high-level languages, such as Python
- Experience with container/virtualization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- In depth knowledge of linux systems, storage and networking
- Proactive approach to identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
Preferences
- Experience with cloud services (e.g. AWS)
- Experience with CI/CD environments (Github Actions, Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.)
- Good interpersonal and communication skills in English with all levels of management
- Understanding of build system of C++ applications
