HR Service Manager (Sequoia One)

As an HR Service Manager at Sequoia One, you will be central to delivering client facing HR management services to our tech clients, including: education and analysis on key HR related topics, compliance trainings, employee relations, and more. You will be part of a growing team that is helping our executive clients learn best practices and avoid unnecessary risks.

What You Get To Do

    • All aspects of client HR management including: new hire onboarding, employee handbook creation, job descriptions, termination guidance, HR form maintenance, new hire orientation, day-to-day client service, and relationship building
    • Act as client service manager, being the clients’ first point of contact for any HR related issues
    • Provide strategic analysis and consulting expertise for aid in our clients’ HR programs
    • Partner with internal team to ensure effective administration and coordination
    • Educate clients on HR management and compliance with federal, state, and local laws
    • Ensure high client-service levels and effectively resolve client escalations
    • Collaborate with all levels of management to develop strategic HR processes and procedures
    • Work closely with entire team to help come through for our Sequoia One clients


    • 5+ years of HR experience is required, 2+ years of multi-client HR experience is preferred
    • Excellent leadership skills and ability to develop and implement a long-term strategic plan
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask
    • Ability to communicate and work across client organizations (HR, CEO, CFO)
    • Solutions-oriented team player who takes initiative and is accountable for results
    • Detail and process-oriented thinker with strong analytical skills
    • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to understand client needs and deliver results under tight deadlines
    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • Professional Designations/Certifications: PHR/SPHR highly desired
