Serán BioScience is searching for a Quality Control Associate, Testing Coordinator to lead in the coordination of scheduling and forecasting activities related to GMP manufacturing and testing events. This role's priority is ensuring client projects meet critical timelines/milestones. The QC testing coordinator works closely with collaborators across departments to harmonize key deliverables and identify and escalate potential scheduling conflicts and requests to change scope of work. Communication skills are critical to participate in conflict resolution with stakeholders which include, but are not limited to, MFG, Materials Management, Technology Transfer, Research and Development, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Project Management. Successful candidates will demonstrate high level of organization and problem-solving skills with at least two years of Quality Control experience within a GMP laboratory.

Duties and Responsibilities

    • Oversee and implement scheduling strategies daily
    • Work with department representatives to fine tune daily, monthly, quarterly schedules
    • Identify, escalate, and collaborate with stake holders to resolve potential conflicts and provide solutions to minimize impacts of any project interruption or change
    • Harmonize key deliverables
    • Identify and escalate potential scheduling conflicts and requests to change scope of work
    • Participate in conflict resolution with stakeholders which include, but are not limited to, MFG, Materials Management, Technology Transfer, Research and Development, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Project Management
    • Other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience

    • Minimum of a High School Diploma
    • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
    • One year of industry experience

Physical Requirements

    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
    • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing in laboratory environment
    • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
