The Brokenhead Ojibway Nation LANDS Department is seeking highly motivated individuals to fill 2 positions on the Lands Stewardship Team to assist and contribute to different land and resource projects within BON lands and traditional territory.
Requirements
- A class 5 Driver’s License is considered an asset.
- Ability to acquire a Class 5 Driver’s License with minimal barriers.
- Ability to work in a team environment under the Lands Steward Coordinator.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks when required.
- A valid Chainsaw/Brush saw Safety Certificate is considered an asset.
- Ability to maintain and troubleshoot equipment to keep it in working order.
- Valid first aid certification is considered an asset.
- Enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
- Willingness to build capacity and professional development.
- Knowledge of mechanics and building is considered an asset.
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug test and future random drug testing.
