The Urban Office Manager will organize and coordinate office administration and procedures, in order to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and safety. The Office Manager is responsible for developing intra-office communication protocols, inventory control, office staff supervision and task delegation, management of finances, record-keeping, document preparation, mail distribution, reception, office maintenance services, scheduling of meetings, and selection of vendors for purchase of office supplies.
The Urban Office Manager will work with the Director of Jordan’s Principle to develop procedures and policies for all administrative activities to ensure that the Jordan’s Principle program mandate, mission, vision and values are being met. 

Requirements

    • Business Administration plus related experience, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
    • Proven experience in Office Administration and Finance.
    • Extremely detail-oriented, organized and able to multi-task
    • Ability to produce and fill out reports, timesheets, applications, order forms and other similar documents.
    • Ability to organize, interpret and manage data and information.
    • Proficient in the MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Book-keeping, record-keeping, note taking and other forms of info and data collection.
    • Excellent vendor management skills
    • Outstanding communication ability, both verbal and written.
    • Able to handle stress and remain calm
    • Must have proven Problem-solving ability and Trust/Relationship building skills.
    • Ability to establish professional working relationships with staff, business, government, and non-profit organizations.
    • Strict adherence to rules of confidentiality and other policies that define the Code of Conduct.
    • Must obtain an up-to-date Criminal Record and Child Abuse Registry Check.
    • Must be willing to submit to pre-employment drug testing and future random drug testing.
    • Must have reliable transportation.
