Role
We are seeking a skilled Help Desk Technician to join our Corporate IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-quality support for desktop environments across our organization, working closely with our North American counterparts to align on strategy and process. You will ensure that our end users have a seamless experience with their devices and applications, focusing on reliability, security, and performance.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide day-to-day support for Microsoft 365 and Office Systems.
- Provide support for desktop and mobile systems including Windows 11, macOS, iOS, Android and various applications.
- Support and troubleshoot productivity tools within the Microsoft Office suite.
- Assist with the deployment and support of specialized software including AutoCAD and Bluebeam.
- Manage service requests and incidents through Freshservice, ensuring timely resolution and excellent customer service.
- Perform software installations and updates across desktop environments.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to implement and enforce IT policies and procedures.
- Train end users on best practices and new technologies.
- Document processes and maintain accurate records of desktop configurations and changes.
Required Skills
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience. (or comparable experience/ceritifications)
- 2+ years of experience in desktop support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 11, macOS, and Microsoft 365.
- Familiarity with IT ticketing and Asset Management tools such as Freshservice.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting collaboration tools including Teams, and Microsoft Office.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Apple) are advantageous.
£37,000 - £45,000 a year
The listed salary range for this position is an estimate based on the competitive job market. Final compensation will be based on your own individual skills, experience, and location.
