The Role:
You will be a Senior member of the Melbourne team and connected to the wider Servian leadership. You will be passionate about growing people, keeping abreast of technology and delivering impactful solutions for our DevOps pillar.

What To Look Forward To:

    • Pre-Sales activity and relationship building with clients and technology partners
    • Building accurate estimates and commercial models for advisory and consulting engagements
    • Leading the consultants and being accountable for the outcomes of the work delivered. Ensuring consultants are provided with feedback and are supported through their engagements to deliver outcomes to clients and opportunities for personal growth.
    • Consulting to clients in the form of strategic recommendations, report writing, analysis and delivery.
    • Producing solution architectures and proposals for new projects.
    • Presenting to clients and partners on Servian solutions and offerings.
    • Workshop facilitation with clients, technology partners and our team.
    • Collaborating with a team of like-minded and experienced engineers for Tier 1 to scale up customers, you will focus on core platform engineering on cloud. Your work will have an impact on platforms that handle crores of customers and millions of transactions daily. 
    • Being hands on when need, you will use the latest cloud services to design and develop reusable core components and frameworks for use by software development teams as well as platform optimisation for security, reliability and scalability.
    • You will help drive a DevOps culture, advocate cloud best practices and mentor junior team members around you.

Experience Required For Success:

    • Be experienced in DevOps and Automation in Microsoft Azure, AWS and GCP
    • Built pipeline (CI) experience; both design and implementation
    • Automation and scripting experience
    • Have managed timelines and budgets
    • Delivered Cloud Adoption Framework and Well Architected Framework principles
    • Have great communication skills with stakeholders at all levels (executives to technical)
    • Be experienced in consulting to clients in automation and migration strategy and execution
    • Experience in Infrastructure as a service (IaaS) and platforms as a service (PaaS).Experience/knowledge in HashiCorp tools (Terraform, Vault, Nomad, Consul).
