Servian Brisbane are looking for a Senior DevOps and Automation Engineer who will be integral in developing and delivering our DevOps Practice.
Servian has extensive experience in DevOps that can be leveraged to help build a local practice.
You will work with clients to understand their needs and help shape the engagements. Your expertise in DevOps, particularly Azure, is essential as you will be very hands-on with delivery.

Your responsibilities will include...
- Pre-Sales and relationship building with clients and partners
- Leading Consultants and owning the outcome of the Engagement
- Consulting to clients in the form of strategic recommendations, report writing, analysis and delivery
- Producing solution architectures and proposals for new projects
- Presenting to clients and partners on Servian solutions and offerings
- Workshop facilitation with clients, partners and our team
- Working with Servian’s Microsoft practise to enable the wider team to deliver solutions in the Azure space.
Your technical expertise includes...
- Azure Networking and peering using Azure Virtual Networks and Express Route.
- Database management using Azure Database PaaS services
- Monitoring and Alerting using Azure Monitor and Azure Log Analytics
- Security services like Security Center and Azure Sentinel
- Delivered Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and Well Architected Framework principles.
- Be familiar with Azure Subscription model and partner funding programs.
- Be experienced in consulting to clients in automation and migration strategy and execution.
- Have experience building and running applications deployed on the Azure Cloud platform
- Hashicorp Terraform experience to orchestrate Infrastructure as Code for Azure would be advantageous.
While your Azure experience is key, you also have the opportunity to become Cloud agnostic and gain experience with other Cloud tech.
