You are better than a code monkey. Agile software development is more than just producing code and shipping them quickly. In our team, we put into consideration the sustainability of software development. We do PDCA on a daily basis to learn and improve the way we work, our products, our people, our environment, and technology. 

We believe wholeheartedly that work must be designed with learning in mind: 20% of the time is given to invent, experiment, acquire new knowledge, or prepare for the next sprint. We call this Play Day. We extend our playfulness further to Hack Week once every 6 months.

Summary of the role
You embrace the principles of agile software development, delivering value to customers without ignoring the quality of software and the sustainability of the development process. By engaging in continuous improvement with your fellow developers, managers, product team, and support engineers, you seek to reduce waste and better manage risk.

In the role, you will utilize multiple languages, tools, and practices. You’ll seek not just an understanding of patterns and principles but also the ability to apply them in real-world applications while dedicating time to grow and innovate.

Responsibilities

    • Build high-quality products with continuous delivery and kaizen in mind.
    • Work with product owners to define technical scope, build and iterate prototypes with user testing.
    • Continuously improve the delivery process through retrospection and innovation.
    • Deliver solutions and fixes that delight our customers.
    • Share the knowledge by mentoring colleagues in good development principles and practices.
    • Communication among team & stakeholders. Evangelizes and solves with buy-in.
    • Scopes, designs, and delivers solutions for large, complex challenges.
    • Deliver solutions(software) that sets the standard for quality and maintainability.
    • Help others achieve the same through code review and coaching.
    • Lead initiatives & meetings within the team and domain.

What we're looking for:

    • At least 5 years of experience in writing and maintaining a production-level application.
    • Experience working in an agile development environment.
    • Experience working with web technology tools and stacks. Working experience in these technology stack will be a bonus: JVM languages, Node.js, React, Serverless, Docker, Jenkins, design systems, and others.
    • Exhibit a growth mindset. Passion for continuous learning and exploring new technology.
    • Work in teams. With good written and verbal communication.

Our Selection Process 🔎

Our goal is for you to interview us. We want you to meet our team so that you can confirm we are the right company for you.
