The Professional Services Consulting area is responsible for providing fee-for-service consulting services to clients by providing a complete project solution to achieve measurable business improvement using company products and services, defining opportunity/process around outsourced solutions, systems integration or other proprietary tools. For this technology consulting opportunity, we are seeking experts who have experience working with Jira and Confluence, possess excellent consulting skills, are able to write code, can consistently delight our customers, and can help us grow a world class consulting practice
Responsibilities:
- Develops and delivers detailed technology solutions through consulting project activities. Responsibilities include client identification through final invoicing for engagements requiring varied interpersonal and technical skills.
- Technical responsibilities include problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification and/or design, implementation, testing, client training, and solution deployment.
- Project management activities include interaction with company and client managers and cost/schedule monitoring. May have some financial responsibilities including project cost estimating, proposal generation, and invoice approval.
- May participate in sales and proposal presentations in addition to completing ongoing team account activities. Identifies additional product/services opportunities in customer organization.
- Manage and review value delivered by assigned consultants to ensure compliance with company goals
Skills & Qualifications:
- Hands on user experience with Atlassian ecosystem platforms: Jira, Confluence and others.
- Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills.
- Able to organize client-facing discovery workshops that drive the capture and prioritization of requirements.
- Able to lead a project or workstream in a project alone or leading a small team.
- Independent starter, doesn't wait for direction, able to take high-level goals and translate them into activities that ensure a successful outcome.
- Effective time management to meet strict deadlines and minimize risks associated with project delivery.
- Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience.
