Seven Starling is looking to add a world-class Care Coordinator to our team. You will work with Seven Starling’s operations team to conduct prospective patient consultations and navigate them to care with us.

Our ideal candidate is passionate about maternal mental health, is energized by the opportunity to help guide women to the care they deserve, values process and thrives in a dynamic environment.

You will excel if you have experience in care navigation and/or patient communications, clinical settings, and Google Sheets / MS Excel. The ideal candidate is someone who is pursuing a career in mental or reproductive health, is open to contract work and has a flexible schedule.

You are committed to protecting patient safety and delivering a high quality standard of care. You take your responsibility seriously as the first touchpoint a prospective patient has with our brand.

What you'll do

    • Conduct 20 minute phone consults with prospective patients, which involve: screening them for fit with our care model, normalizing what they are experiencing, explaining how therapy with us works answering questions, checking their insurance eligibility helping them sign up to get started 
    • Send secure text message follow up to prospective patients to help route them to a consult or care 
    • Keep our CRM up to date with the status of prospective patients and our communications with them

Who you are

    • Empathetic and well-spoken. You are able to connect with all kinds of people and make them feel safe, supported, and cared for. You explain things clearly and succinctly.
    • Detail oriented and highly organized. You double check everything to make sure it’s right. Nothing falls through the cracks when you’re overseeing it. You can internalize the details of many service options and present them accurately to prospective patients. 
    • Mission-driven and ethical. You take our responsibility to patient care very seriously and always consider what is best for the patient. You treat patient data with the utmost care and always prioritize data security. 
    • Creative and solution-oriented. You are a problem solver who proactively identifies problems and proposes solutions. You take the lead on the projects you own, raising issues and opportunities to your manager instead of waiting for direction on them.
    • Familiar with working in healthcare environments. Understanding of and experience working with HIPAA compliance is a plus. Experience checking insurance eligibility with tools such as Availity, Change Healthcare, is also nice to have.
    • Bilingual is a plus!

Details

    • Expectation of availability: 10-20 hours per week
    • Contract Role: Flexible schedule; must have a few hours of availability at least 4 days within the work week M-F
