You are passionate about finding inventive solutions for complex, information dense interfaces that make sense to highly trained professionals and draws on best practices and design principles. Your design superpower is creating prototypes and design specifications by rapidly turning complex requirements and ideas into interactive simulations that help align our teams and direct our design decisions. You are excited with the challenge of maintaining a modern design system.

You'll collaborate closely with the principal product designers, subject matter experts, customer insights and research partners, product managers and engineers to deliver direction through the creation of experience maps, system diagrams, concept sketching, user flows and working prototypes - all in varying degrees of fidelity. The outcome for our customers is to accelerate understanding and analysis that can facilitate their invention of novel treatments in the precision medical field. This will be accomplished with clear, cohesive, consistent, and configurable information environments that rely heavily on easy-to-use input, annotation and export methods that work alongside clear data visualization models.

What you'll be doing:

    • Interview users in order to identify their needs pain points
    • Design low, mid, and high-fidelity prototypes that provide solutions for end-to-end user flows, information architecture, portal design, and data visualization models.
    • Practice the craft of design within an agile (scrum), lean environment.
    • Contribute to our design system of reusable UI components
    • Follow the user-centric design processIdentify and troubleshoot user pain points and UX problems
