Seven Bridges is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant as an integral part of our Finance Team. Position Overview
As a member of the Finance Team at Seven Bridges, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the general accounting operations of the Company. This position will ensure the quality of accounting related to revenue and cash generating activities, including processes and business analysis utilizing hands-on accounting experience and an in-depth understanding of accounting principles. This role reports to the Global Controller and is a highly visible role throughout the organization requiring interaction with several senior leadership positions. This is an excellent opportunity for a go-getter to demonstrate exceptional accounting skills in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing

    • Manage the monthly financial close process and related preparation of financial statements
    • Assist with monthly customer invoicing and related revenue recognition
    • Support the Staff Accountant with the reconciliation of balance sheet and income statement accounts
    • Assist with monthly financial statement analysis, budget reporting and summary of results for the executive team and senior management
    • Work alongside the Staff Accountant with daily treasury and banking activities
    • Assist with cash flow and expenditure projections
    • Perform the quarterly consolidation of Seven Bridges’ foreign subsidiaries 
    • Help manage Seven Bridges 401k PlanAid in annual external financial statement audit, including preparation of audit schedules in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS
    • Implement and optimize process improvements as required
    • Be able to work in a cohesive, results-driven team structure

Do you have what it takes?

    • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
    • Three to five years of accounting experience, with some public accounting experience preferred
    • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
    • Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
    • Demonstrate attention to detail and excellent organization, oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously and consistently meet assigned deadlines
    • Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction to accomplish objectives
    • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management and external entities to maximize performance, problem-solving and results
    • Advanced knowledge and experience with Excel.
    • Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
