About the Team
The San Francisco Giants are looking for an Experiential Designer to help bring to life immersive, brand-forward environments across Oracle Park and other Giants facilities. This role will assist in developing placemaking solutions that sit at the intersection of design, architecture, and fan experience—ranging from branded environments and wayfinding to site activations, curated art moments, and digital/physical installations. As the organization moves into a new era of capital improvement and fan engagement strategy, we’re looking for someone who sees opportunity in every corner—someone who can assess spatial flow, identify narrative touchpoints, and translate strategy into moments that surprise, guide, or connect. You’ll collaborate closely with the Giants Design Studio, Experience Development, Ballpark Operations and broader Marketing team to ensure that every creative execution aligns with our brand, enhances the guest experience, and supports evolving goals around inclusivity, innovation, and storytelling. The ideal candidate brings strong Industrial design and creative skills, a curious mindset, and the ability to both imagine and execute. This role reports to the Senior Director, Design Studio and will operate at our ballpark headquarters at 24 Willie Mays Plaza.

You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because….
· Work in lock step with the design team to create original graphics and uphold brand standards
· Apply strong design skills, including typography, image creation, and manipulation, to projects that span a range of ballpark environments and fan-facing experiences
· Exhibit strong visual presentation skills and a collaborative, iterative approach to design and workflow
· Experience working with external vendors, fabricators, and architects to bring design concepts to life, from renderings through installation. Including interpreting architectural plans, working at scale, and contributing to long-range ballpark upgrades through environmental graphic design.
· Bring a flexible design sensibility to a wide variety of project types—including wayfinding, spatial graphics, construction signage, and branded environmental activations
· Engage directly with stakeholders to support Capital Improvement Projects (CapEx), translating architectural plans and development concepts into compelling visual executions that reinforce the Giants brand
· Interpret architectural plans, work at scale, and contribute to long-range ballpark upgrades through environmental graphic design
· Manage multiple project schedules while producing on-time, on-budget deliverables across both seasonal and multi-year timelines tied to ballpark improvements
· Synthesize information from creative briefs and project documentation to manage the design process from concept through execution while demonstrating strong communication, presentation, and creative skills
· Stay current on creative and experiential trends—and apply those insights to the evolving Oracle Park experience and other Giants properties.
· Assist in creating and upholding San Francisco Giants brand guidelines, driving consistency and clarity both in and outside the ballpark, as well as all digital assets.
Qualifications:
· Passionate about providing fans with a great experience by listening, interacting and producing innovative content/designs
· At least 5 years professional design experience
· Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite and a portfolio of design work is a must
· Basic knowledge of presentation software, Canva & Google Slides, and basic proficiency with sketchup or similar design tools.
· Detailed and solutions-oriented approach to planning, tracking, and communication
· College graduate graphic design degree, or similar. The ideal candidate brings strong Graphic Design, Industrial design and creative skills
· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally
· Knowledge of creative trends and high-level cultural moments spanning sports and entertainment
· Positive attitude, open to learning, not afraid to fail, and is open to new ideas
· At times ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Overnight travel may be required from time to time
· Knowledge of the sport of baseball, both MLB and @SFGiants

$90,000 - $100,000 a year
At the San Francisco Giants, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $90,000 to $100,000 base salary plus Annual Bonus ,and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience and other factors the San Francisco Giants consider relevant to the hiring decision Additionally, this role might be eligible for bonus or incentive awards.
