About the Role

· Reports to: Vice President & Deputy General Counsel
· Location: San Francisco, CA (primarily in-office)
The Legal Counsel will serve under the general oversight of the Deputy General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer. This position involves advising on a broad range of legal matters, including contracts, litigation, intellectual property, labor and employment, real estate, dispute resolution, privacy and data security, and immigration. (It’s not required that candidates have experience in all of these areas.) You’ll work directly with all departments within the organization.

Qualifications
· You have a J.D. from an accredited law school and a strong academic background.
· You are a member in good standing with the California Bar (or eligible for in-house counsel registration).
· A minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a practicing lawyer, preferably with law firm experience.

$190,000 - $210,000 a year
At the San Francisco Giants, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the total compensation for this position to be in the range of $225,000 to $255,000 (base salary plus bonus), and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience and other factors the San Francisco Giants consider relevant to the hiring decision.
