The Sheryl Sandberg & Dave Goldberg Family Foundation works to build a more equal and resilient world. We bring people together to support each other through three key initiatives: LeanIn.Org, OptionB.Org, and the Dave Goldberg Scholarship Program. 

We are searching for a Director of Product Management to join our team and manage our digital ecosystem. Our platforms, LeanIn.Org and OptionB.Org, are critical instruments for sharing our work out into the world. Through these hubs, we serve women, people facing hardship and adversity, and companies with our programs, research, and thought leadership. As Director of Product Management, you’ll lead the creation of delightful digital experiences that showcase our work across our brands in a comprehensive, compelling, and engaging way. This newly created position will report to the VP of Marketing and be a member of the marketing leadership team. 

For this role, our ideal candidate is a strategic product leader who has excellent UX/UI skills, strong testing capabilities, and retail instinct, and a sharp vision and understanding of how to position our platforms to attract, engage, and ultimately convert audiences.  This person thrives on "cracking the code" to uncover new opportunities and unlock growth for our programs and brands, and has experience engaging with cross-functional partners and external firms and vendors (e.g., website designers, design and development agencies).

Due to COVID-19, our team is working remotely (on PDT hours) through August 2022.  Long term we're planning to operate as a hybrid team, with some team members working in-person and some working remotely, depending on the nature of their role, their leadership responsibilities, and the composition of their team. For people who work in-person, we'll maintain our standard schedule of three in-office and two work-from-home days.


    • Build and optimize our funnels to drive consumers to engage and adapt our programs across the customer journey. Develop learning agenda, roadmaps, and experiments – such as landing page optimization, messaging, and UX – to optimize conversion and achieve other key metrics. 
    • Audit current websites against needed business capabilities, potentially replatform, and build a website for an exciting new program launching Q1’23. Work with our agency partners to build and maintain inviting, accessible, and cohesive websites (from inception, development, and beyond).
    • Manage our test/learn roadmap and optimize our funnels, landing pages, design, and more, to make the website a scalable platform that speaks to our key audiences.
    • Manage a team of product and digital professionals. Mentor, motivate and grow the team to expand their capabilities and reach their career aspirations.
    • Support go-to-market programs for B2C and B2B initiatives, and programs that build demand and cross-sell/up-sell across consumer touchpoints.
    • Ensure our strategic approach fits our intersectional framework. Integrate diverse perspectives across our platforms and sites.
    • Represent the Voice of the Customer to ensure initiatives deliver an excellent customer experience and are rooted in consumer insights. 
    • Analyze and monitor performance to ensure that we are on track to deliver objectives. Develop new insights and apply them to future projects. Build monthly reports to communicate progress.
    • Work seamlessly with direct reports, creative, communications, partnerships, program, brand, and B2B marketing teams, colleagues, and partners, and foster a spirit of collaboration.


    • 10+ years of related experience in e-commerce or relevant industry. Multi-faceted marketing skills with depth in Growth Marketing. Operates as a "big picture" strategic thinker as well as an equally strong "doer."  
    • Experience managing and optimizing the funnel. Proven experience using experiments to optimize critical metrics.
    • Deep familiarity with metrics including CAC, CPL, CPC, CPM, LTV, and ROAS. Adept at using core tools such as Google Analytics, HotJar, Optimizely, Data viz platforms, and Asana.
    • Strong quantitative skills to analyze and synthesize raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations.
    • Experience creating inclusive, culturally aware campaigns that speak to diverse audiences
    • Effective communication in written and verbal formats. People management experience. Demonstrated ability to effectively coach, develop and motivate direct reports.
    • Team-oriented and willing to take on responsibilities outside of immediate scope when needed. 
    • Quick learner who works well independently and takes/seeks a collaborative approach to problem-solving. 
    • Ability to inspire, engage and maximize talent to get the best outcomes from teams.
    • Embraces ambiguity, excels in taking on new challenges, prioritizes efficiently, communicates early and effectively, and ultimately gets it done in a lean environment.
    • Passion for missions of Lean In, Option B, and the Dave Goldberg Scholarship Program
    • Available to consistently work PDT hours

Bonus Skills

    • Knowledge of performance marketing, CRM and/or learning management systems (LMS)
    • Experience with B2B and B2C verticals.
