We're looking for a Manager of Consumer Marketing to lead marketing initiatives that drive awareness, engagement, and growth of our programs and global community. Our ideal candidate is a strong "big picture" thinker and an equally strong "doer" that can develop the strategy and roll up their sleeves to implement projects. This exciting role includes leading the planning, execution, optimization, and reporting of our go-to-market plans and ongoing marketing strategies to B2C audiences. 

This would be an extraordinary opportunity for a savvy digital marketer with a track record of leading cross-functional teams to develop holistic, high-impact marketing initiatives to make a significant and lasting impact on women in the workplace.

What You Will Do

    • Lead go-to-market planning and execution to build awareness, acquisition, and engagement of new and existing audiences at scale.
    • Ensure integration across all consumer touchpoints to effectively build awareness (reach), engagement, and conversion of new and existing audiences.
    • Manage brand positioning strategy and update as needed based on competitive landscape analysis.
    • Craft breakthrough campaigns and digital marketing initiatives across web, email, social, paid, earned media, programs, and partnerships.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams (including partnerships, programs, and communications) and channel leads (content marketing, web, creative) to develop and execute cohesive, compelling marketing activations.
    • Lead the development of web pages, email/lifecycle marketing, blogs, videos, webinars, and more.
    • Develop campaigns with channel leaders, such as paid ads, email, landing pages, etc.
    • Develop and execute test/learn plans to develop new marketing approaches and channels that improve the overall marketing mix.
    • Mine consumer insights and incorporate them to drive insight-based programs.
    • Analyze and monitor the performance of initiatives to ensure we are effective and efficient. Synthesize key learnings and develop recommendations for future optimization.

What You Will Bring

    • A shared appreciation for and commitment to the mission and work of Lean In, Option B, and the Dave Goldberg Scholarship Program.
    • Commitment to being a strong advocate for equity, inclusion, and uplifting marginalized voices.
    • 5+ years of marketing experience in brand management with a focus on strategic marketing that moves the needle with a heavy focus on digital activations including, but not limited to social media, ads, email marketing, PR, and content marketing.
    • Demonstrated experience in developing marketing strategies from messaging to product innovation to go-to-market strategy.
    • Experience constructing creative briefs, providing feedback, and delivering engaging creative with creative agency and/or in-house creative team.
    • Project Management experience effectively managing complex, multi-touch marketing campaigns in a fast-moving environment.
    • Strong knowledge of Marketing trends in the evolving business environment and the data and metrics needed to demonstrate campaign success.
    • eCommerce, strategy consulting, or P&L/general management experience is a plus!

Important Information

    • This is a full-time, individual contributor role with a schedule that would require availability to work Pacific Time zone hours.
    • This remote position includes the option of working a hybrid schedule for individuals based in the San Francisco Bay Area (Our office is located in Palo Alto, California).
    • Occasional travel is required to attend organization-wide offsites and events.
    • The selected individual must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
