SGFF has an exciting opportunity for a talented recruiter who is eager to apply their 6+ years of experience and expertise in full-cycle recruiting and recruiting operations with SGFF as our Senior Recruiting Lead. In this role, you’ll play a key role in helping SGFF to build a more equal and resilient world by strategically leading and tactically executing full-cycle recruiting and sourcing, and recruiting operations for the organization.  

As Senior Recruiting Lead, you’ll partner with hiring managers, senior leaders, and other members of the SGFF team to lead full-cycle recruiting for the organization, with equity and inclusion as a central thread in your approach to recruiting and hiring outcomes. You’ll also drive continuous improvement in our recruiting operations and implement changes that make our recruiting processes more efficient and equitable. 

Due to COVID-19, our team is working remotely (on PDT hours) through August 2022. Long term we're planning to operate as a hybrid team, with some team members working in-person and some working remotely, depending on the nature of their role, their leadership responsibilities, and the composition of their team. For people who work in-person, we'll maintain our standard schedule of three in-office and two work-from-home days.


    • Partner with hiring managers and team members to create diversity sourcing strategies, manage full-cycle recruitment for multiple roles, and guide candidates through the recruiting process – from sourcing through close 
    • Review, screen, and interview candidates for appropriateness of skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements, and organizational mission and values 
    • Support candidates across the recruiting process, and provide consistent and clear communication to candidates and hiring managers throughout the process Recommend and negotiate candidate offers through a proactive offer management process
    • Train hiring managers and team members on best practices in recruiting and candidate engagement, and ensure that recruiting best practices are followed across the organization
    • Leverage the applicant tracking system to create reportable analytics and insights on recruiting outcomes Develop external relationships to support recruiting and sourcing efforts 
    • Evaluate our recruiting process and look for opportunities to increase equity at every phase and step


    • You’ll have at least 6 years of experience as a full-cycle recruiter, which includes the recruitment and sourcing of passive candidates
    • You’re a champion for equity and inclusion who seeks out diverse voices and perspectives, and have experience and understanding of how to reach talent from historically marginalized communities
    • You are process driven and have excellent organizational and project management skills
    • You possess a demonstrated ability to operationalize recruiting and sourcing processes, collect and analyze data, and improve processes through continuous iteration
    • You take a collaborative and consultative approach to working with hiring managers and team members in the recruiting and sourcing process
    • You are highly skilled at communicating clearly and effectively with different audiences, and building strong and productive relationships with multiple stakeholders
    • You tackle complex problems with a strategic mindset and thoughtful, proactive approach
    • You take a “People First” approach to ensuring a great candidate experience 
    • A demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, and tolerance of ambiguity
    • Available to consistently work US west coast (PDT) hours
