Come join us as we expand our flagship program - Lean In - to reach middle-school-aged girls and their caretakers. We are looking to hire a Senior Marketing Manager to develop the marketing plan and go-to-market tactics and drive campaign activation to drive awareness, engagement, and program adoption. To thrive in this role, you must be a savvy marketer with prior experience marketing to tweens and teens. You should play both "high" and "low" by combining "big picture" strategic thinking with a desire to roll up your sleeves to make things happen.

What You Will Do

    • Drive the go-to-market launch plan for Lean In Girls to build brand awareness, engagement, and program adoption. Drive marketing integration across all touchpoints - web, email, content, social media, events, PR, etc. to speak from one voice.
    • Lead messaging and consumer communication for girls, caregivers, and partners. Reach target audiences through owned & paid channels (email, ads, web copy, etc.)
    • Work closely with marketing and cross-functional partners to design and implement the marketing plan. Develop and present thoughtful marketing briefs to creatives and marketing channel owners that communicate clear objectives, insights, inspiration, and messaging. Provide input into paid media strategy and ensure messages and media plans are on brand and aligned.
    • Track and analyze business performance to ensure we deliver our goals. Develop monthly reporting to socialize results, key learnings, and indicated actions. 
    • Support the partnership team with collateral, tools, and initiatives necessary to secure partners for Lean In Girls. 
    • Ensure our marketing campaigns, communications and programs resonate with the multi-dimensional audience we serve. 
    • Develop the test/learn roadmap to test new tactics and optimize our marketing mix.

What You Will Bring

    • Shared appreciation for and commitment to the mission and work of Lean In, Option B, and the Dave Goldberg Scholarship Program.
    • Commitment to being a strong advocate for equity, inclusion, and uplifting marginalized voices.
    • 7 years of related experience in brand and product marketing including experience in managing a CPG business in a brand marketing role or having grown an online consumer business's customer base and engagement.
    • Experience marketing to youth. A strong pulse on pop culture, emerging media trends, and driving relevance with parents and kids.
    • Demonstrated success managing brands, building demand, and creating inclusive, culturally aware marketing campaigns that speak to diverse audiences. 
    • Experience with agency management; proven skill in motivating creatives to deliver robust and insightful work that makes the brand come alive.
    • Familiarity with youth marketing regulations is highly desired.
    • eCommerce, strategy consulting, or P&L/general management experience is a plus!

Important Information

    • This is a full-time, individual contributor role with a schedule that would require availability to work Pacific Time zone hours.
    • This remote position includes the option of working a hybrid schedule for individuals based in the San Francisco Bay Area (Our office is located in Palo Alto, California).
    • Occasional travel is required to attend organization-wide offsites and events.
    • The selected individual must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
