The Principal ERP Administrator leads the continuous improvement team and ensures cohesion and synchronization with its members. This position will work to implement and maintain Deltek and its suite of products for and subsidiary companies in heavily regulated industries such as government contracting and manufacturing.  

What you'll do:

    • This role is responsible for driving the ERP application and components, their data and processes and maintaining a world class experience for everyone at Shield AI.   

    • The position provides expert level support for business processes, applications, and databases.  

    • Drives and supports the ERP Administrator 

    • Craft training documentation and provide hands on training across all modules within Costpoint in addition to Business Intelligence (Cognos 11 Reporting).  

    • This role will embed within departments, when required, to analyze business need and process, solve complicated business problems and provide hands on “train the trainer” training.   

    • Coach and mentor staff as needed. 

Required qualifications:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, specifically business / report writing  

    • Executive-level verbal and written communication skills demonstrating the ability to extract relevant information from a large volume of data  

    • Strong analytical and basic research skills  

    • Recommend, design, and implement departmental controls and procedures  

    • Solid organizational skills especially the ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details  

    • Implementation and execution experience with managing Change Control Boards in growing organizations.  

    • Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment  

    • Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously  

    • Familiarity with GAAP, GCCM, DCAA, DCMA, DFAR, FAR, CAS, SOX, and GSA schedules  

    • Proactive, innovative, collaborative, adheres to deadlines, and responsive to the needs of the business units and management requirements  

    • Ability to follow and apply specific rules and regulations  

    • Ability to work with minimal supervision  

    • Exhibits strong ethics, positive attitude, and calm demeanor under pressure  

    • Flexible, organized and possesses the ability to work in a fast-paced environment  

    • Interact directly with Partners, 3rd Party Vendors, and other leaders on ERP systems and operational management 

    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, planning tools, and specifically advanced knowledge of excel and/or data workbooks  

    • Expert knowledge of Deltek Costpoint; required 

Preferred qualifications:

    • PMP, CAPM, CSM, others; preferred but not required  

    • Deltek suite or other technology certifications; preferred and highly valued  

    • Deltek ERP & related products; preferred  

    • Microsoft 365 Suite; Teams, Power Automate; preferred  

    • Oracle Database Enterprise experience; preferred  

    • Microsoft Azure DevOps experience; preferred
