Job Description:
The Junior Air Vehicle Operator serves as a crewmember or ground support personnel for V-BAT flight operations teams of various specialties. They perform basic ground and flight operations functions, assist with planning and execution of off-site operations, and provide general support to the subject matter experts on the team. They may serve as Aircraft Operators or Safety Pilots given their skill level, attributes, and ability to achieve operator qualifications.
What You'll Do:
- Employ artificially intelligent systems on and off-site for US Department of Defense and international customers.
- Provide maintenance and logistics support for flight crews.
- Perform flight duties as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to pass background check in accordance with company policy
- Ability to pass medical and dental screenings as required by customers
- Ability to possess a Secret DoD security clearance as required by customers
- Interest in aviation, artificial intelligence, and military technology.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with other manned or unmanned systems
- Prior military service with overseas assignments
- Maritime/shipboard UAS experience
- FAA Ratings (Part 107/Private Pilot/Commercial/Instrument/CFI)
- A&P certified
