As an experienced Program Finance Manager for the organization you prepare project forecasts to assist the project team with effective project cost management.   

What you’ll do:

    • Prepare project forecasts, including Estimate-At-Complete (EAC) and Estimate-To-Complete (ETC) analyses ensuring compliance with company policies and FAR/ DFARs  
    • Track contract values and funding and comparison to EAC 
    • Perform financial and variance analysis against budget, plan, prior forecast 
    • Prepare and submit timely customer invoices 
    • Work side-by-side with Project Managers and serve as the Finance Representative on project teams 
    • Communicate with direct management regarding financial results and ensure project managers and other senior personnel are aware of risks and opportunities identified during project financial reviews 
    • Interface and build collaborative relationships with Contracts, Business Development, Engineering, Production and Supply Chain, Accounting, and FP&A 
    • Support other programmatic ad hoc requests, as needed 
    • Assist with development of cost/price proposals of various sizes and complexities, for Federal Government customers in compliance with RFP solicitations.  
    • Complete project setup in ERP system

Projects that you might work on:

    • Annual Operating Plan 
    • Indirect rate reporting and analysis 
    • Revenue recognition 

Required qualifications:

    • Government contracting experience 
    • Understanding and experience with Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursable, and Time & Materials (T&M) contract types 
    • Familiarity with GAAP, FAR/DFAR, CAS 
    • 5+ years in finance or accounting with 2+ specifically in government contracting program finance 
    • BS/BA degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Business-related discipline finance, or business-related experience 
    • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, attention to detail, and excellent communication and analytic skills 
    • You have a demonstrated record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding yourself and others to high standards, and being kind to others 

Preferred qualifications:

    • Experience with Deltek Costpoint 
    • Experience with project planning tools
