Job Description
We are seeking an innovative candidate experienced in managing priority suppliers and subcontracts.
What You'll Do:
- Effectively manage supply of critical components for both production and supply chain (including managing purchase requisitions, delivery schedules, and RMAs)
- Negotiate terms with priority suppliers including cost and schedule, while maintaining high quality
- Manage supplier's performance through cross-functional supplier management teams to ensure high quality, timely, and cost-effective operations
- Proactively resolve problems and discrepancies with pricing, delivery timelines, and quality
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., production, prototype, engineering)
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5-7 years of relevant supply chain or subcontract management experience
- Experience in relevant manufacturing industries (e.g., Aerospace and Defense, Automotive, Space, Electronics)
- Ownership mindset and ability to effectively plan and execute complex supplier management
- Analytical and problem-solving experience with high attention to detail
- Excellent Computer skills - Excel, Word and PowerPoint and experience with ERP systems (Deltek CostPoint preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to effectively plan and execute complex supplier negotiations (cost, schedule, terms) times in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of U.S. DoD compliance requirements (FAR/DFAR)
- Experience leading a cross-functional Supplier Management Team (SMT)
$83,307 - $131,570 a year
