What you'll do:

    • Own and contribute to circuit and system verification for the VBAT aircraft and all supporting products. This includes new circuit designs, embedded systems, complex sensors, gimbal cameras, and payloads.
    • Identify bugs, risks, concerns. Propose solutions and design updates. Provide feedback to the engineering team 
    • Provide approval for new designs and integrations before they are released to customers 
    • Engage with the cross functional team including mechanical, electrical, embedded, manufacturing, thermal, etc. 
    • Manage your project timeline and deliverables 
    • Help our team improve processes to enable your work and improve efficiency/autonomy 
    • Conduct and attend cross functional design reviews 
    • Mentor teammates when possible 
    • Help develop automated test solutions for engineering and production 
    • Other duties as assigned

Required qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering; or equivalent work experience
    • 3+ years of industry experience as an Electrical Engineer 
    • Contribution to a product design involving EE, ME, and SW engineering 
    • Experience with circuit testing, debugging, navigating a schematic + layout, using basic lab tools/equipment, and documenting findings in a clear way 
    • Detail oriented and organized 
    • You have a demonstrated record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding yourself and others to high standards, and being kind to others 

Preferred qualifications:

    • Experience working on cutting-edge autonomous robotic systems  
    • Proven background in thriving within fast-paced environments, particularly within startup or R&D settings 
    • Demonstrated adaptability, agility, and the ability to innovate under pressure to meet dynamic project demands and drive successful outcomes. 
$112,000 - $168,000 a year

- Temporary employee positions: Hourly within range listed above + temporary benefits package (applicable after 60 days
of employment)

Salary compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location. All offers are contingent on a cleared background and possible reference check.
