Job Description 
Product managers at Shield AI are responsible for the development, execution, and maintenance of product road maps. They work with leaders in the engineering, business development, operations and finance to coordinate cross-functional activities related to product development, delivery, and sales. Product Managers occupy a high leverage role, being tasked to translate corporate strategy into operational plans and execution. This role will focus on the development and delivery of teaming (swarming) products across multiple aircraft types. 

Projects you might work on:

    • Teaming programs for V-BAT; crewed-uncrewed teaming of fighter aircraft 

Required qualifications:

    • You have a Bachelor’s degree, and 12 +OR 15+ years of management sales, or operational experience within the DoD 
    • You have a thorough understanding and knowledge of the military operations and the acquisition process that allows you to maintain strong customer relations 
    • You have experience working with COCOMs, Service Headquarters and S&T organizations, and OSD Secretariats. 
    • You have working knowledge and experience with the requirements generation, DoD budget cycles, and process across the DoD and its sub-components 
    • Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally, frequently and without restriction, including customer sites (30-60%) 
    • Active Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance 

Preferred qualifications:

    • MBA or related Master’s degree in a related field 
    • Demonstrated understanding of specific AirForce/Army/Navy/etc. operational scenarios and systems 
    • Strong research and analysis skills 
    • Demonstrated people leadership and team building experience in high leverage roles
