Shopify Plus is an enterprise-level ecommerce solution. It handles the technical legwork of running a large online store for our merchants.

Shopify Plus has a unique opportunity to disrupt the enterprise commerce space and agencies today are already proving this to be possible.  As a Partner Manager, you will be critical to supporting our agency and solutions partners — they are an integral part of the Shopify Plus Partner Program and your work will help make partners a success. 

You’ll work on business development planning, education and co-marketing initiatives for partners throughout China.
You will also conduct research to target, recruit and onboard new partners. Part of the role will require you to keep partners on track to help them meet our program requirements, delivery standards and make strategic decisions as to each partner's status in our program.

Requirements for the role:

    • You speak native-level Chinese with high level English fluency
    • You excel at establishing and growing mutually beneficial business relationships
    • You're a bit of a super sleuth and know how to research a business
    • You have at least 2 years experience in enterprise ecommerce or partnerships
    • You have Great business development skills and the ability to work under pressure
    • You can work well as part of a team and as an individual contributor
    • You have technical background or strong API knowledge
    • If you know any programming language, that'd be terrific
    • Product manager experience would be a plus

Projects you will work on:

    • Research agencies and solutions providers and create and execute business plans to develop your territory
    • Be able to understand and communicate the competitive strengths of each assigned partner
    • Recruit, onboard, and educate new partners
    • Manage a pipeline of partner sales opportunities and working alongside the Plus sales team
    • Create a joint value propositions for each partner and identify relevant audiences
    • Work with marketing to identify opportunities for campaigns, co-marketing, case studies and events that increase partner pipeline
    • Speak and attend events to evangelize Shopify Plus to prospective partners and merchants
