Integrated Marketing Manager, Shopify Plus

We’re looking for an Integrated Marketing Manager to join the Shopify Plus team in Waterloo.

Your goal will be to develop, implement, and manage integrated campaigns and programs to generate brand awareness, drive merchant acquisition and increase product adoption. This will include working closely with sales, account management teams, and channel and product marketing teams to build out targeted campaigns. Your ability to own projects from start to finish, drive campaign execution and effectively communicate with cross-functional teams should be second to none.

You'll get to do things like:

    • Outline the campaign mix, campaign calendar and required budget and resources to launch campaigns
    • Execute on unique, targeted and relevant integrated marketing campaigns that increase brand recognition, generate leads and drive product adoption
    • Provide insights to content and product marketing to inform marketing messages that help support the product line messaging to the target audience segments for campaigns
    • Gain deep understanding of target audience segments using primary and secondary research (i.e. Salesforce, Mode, etc)
    • Support the management and tracking of the campaign calendar, budget, and resources required to launch campaigns
    • Coordinate and support Integrated Marketing Lead across go-to-market teams, including enablement, PR, growth, content, social, ops, digital, and UX, in order to develop campaign concepts, creative, and deliverables
    • Measure, analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing programs and campaigns with the purpose of improving and driving data-informed campaign planning
    • Help to identify and create the most effective marketing collateral that can be leveraged during the sales process
    • Understand the industry and competitive landscape and educate internal teams accordingly
    • Drive our account based marketing strategy forward

You'll need to have:

    • Experience implementing and managing integrated marketing campaigns
    • Experience developing key messaging themes, identifying target audiences, and guiding the optimal mix of channel tactics and content
    • The ability to influence cross-functional teams and champion new concepts and ideas
    • Proficiency in delivering on campaign activities on time and to a high standard with a knack for project/program management, with the ability to think strategically
    • A passion for analytics and experience with tools/resources used to measure success (Salesforce, Google Analytics, A/B testing tools etc.)
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, programs and priorities in a fast paced, dynamic environment
    • Highly organized and process-driven - strive to improve internal processes whenever possible
    • Be open to failure, and trying new things
    • A passion for learning and working with technologies, software and digital platforms to engage target audiences
    • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills
