The Inside Sales Representative role is focused on working with Shyft’s move management team to identify and drive opportunities for Shyft’s end-clients: our customers. 
The key goal of this role is to represent the company and be a selling point for both our unique software and our services. The role is adept at understanding the needs and process pains of customers who are moving - to identify different opportunities they might be interested in when it comes to the moving of their household items. You will have the exciting opportunity to be responsible for serving as the Moving Industry subject matter expert for customers, fostering a positive and collaborative experience for prospects to evaluate, engage with while implementing Shyft’s product and software.

Responsibilities:

Secure new customer wins for Shyft’s moving and relocation services: Maximize up-sell and cross-sell opportunities collaborating with partner departments to present Shyft’s take on value propositions that align to customer’s expectations when it comes to the safe relocation and handling of their household items.

Effectively turn prospects and qualified leads into opportunities and revenue pipeline by qualifying opportunities and selling with Shyft’s partners

Demonstrate verbally, in writing and through live product demos, how customers can capture value and envision their future with Shyft’s technologies

Leverage social, digital, video, chat, phone and demonstration environments to effectively reach, sell to and manage Shyft’s customers

Being the first contact point for many customers, deliver a strong first impression, and set the foundation for long-term customer relationships. 

Communicate effectively with the line of business and decision makers effectively via phone, email, and video

Work strategically to remove technical and business sales roadblocks and innovate to improve business development practice

Develop a thorough understanding of solutions and relevant business endeavors, and become proficient conducting high-level live video chats. 

Obsess over Shyft’s customers and prospects to deliver a world-class customer engagement experience

Collaborate with the extended sales team, partners, and move management team to pursue high potential customers and develop a target list of potential business 

Work in a fast-paced, collaborative and dynamic teaming environment to effectively manage opportunities and pipeline through the sales cycle

Effectively turn prospects and qualified leads into opportunities and revenue pipeline by qualifying opportunities and selling with Shyft’s partners

Ensure excellence in pipeline hygiene, and sales execution against targets

Meet and exceed daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly targets, including pipeline generation and activity based targets; accurately forecast pipeline generation

Attend mandatory daily, weekly and monthly team meetings to discuss overall progress, action planning, attitude and development.

Requirements:

Must present and communicate in a professional manner.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must be organized with good time management skills.

Possess proven analytical/problem-solving solutions for the client and the company.

Computer proficiency in Windows and Microsoft applications.

Previous cold calling and B2B (Business to Business Sales) experience (minimum 1 year of relevant sales experience is a big plus).Experience in developing and executing sales strategies.

Possess strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.

Should be self-motivated, driven individuals who have previous business to business sales and/or general sales experience and able to work independently to meet or exceed team goals.  

Must have the ability to communicate orally and in writing with customers.  

Must have basic mathematical skills. Must have excellent time management skills.  

Must be able to set and meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks efficiently and complete duties independently. 

Ability to work in all three shifts, on weekends and possibly on holidays - but in total 5 days in a week.
