The Role
Shyp’s Sales Representatives will be focused on connecting our products with businesses across the country. You’ll be an ambassador of the Shyp brand, an expert in assessing a business's shipping needs and how we can help, and most importantly, you’ll be an important part of the larger team that powers Shyp. Your insights, feedback, and experiences will be essential to building and improving our products.

Your Job

    • Prospecting through calls and email.  Important note: you can’t be afraid of the phone.
    • Pitch small businesses on the value of using Shyp. They have logistics problems and you need to help them solve them.
    • Give feedback (through data and your insights) to the larger Shyp team to help us refine our product and our story.
    • Guide small businesses through their initial time on the product to convert them to full customers.
    • Collaborate with City Operations to make clients successful.

About You

    • You’re passionate about Shyp and helping businesses succeed.
    • You’re tenacious, scrappy, and are willing to work hard to get the job done.
    • You can thrive in an early stage sales environment. You can deal with some ambiguity and still be successful.
    • 2+ years sales experience. Big plus if you’ve worked with SMBs or shipping before. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Team player. You want to crush your number, but also help the company crush the bigger one.
    • You’re comfortable collaborating with other departments to make sales and Shyp at large successful.
    • Tech savvy. Comfortable working with computers and Salesforce.
    • Competitive and willing to hustle. Slackers need not apply!
