Are you the kind of person who wakes up each morning most excited to solve the latest Wordle or NYT Crossword? Or maybe you’re the kind of person who friends and family call when the wifi needs resetting or rebooting? (What can you say? You’re really good at walking people through complex problems and technical issues!). If this sounds just like you, then you might just be the person for this role.

Our ideal candidate is a problem-solving go-getter and a super cool kindness spreader! In this role, you can expect to be crowned the “Anaplan whisperer.” This means you’ll be the go-to for all things monitoring systems, new features, maintenance, optimization, and more. If you’re eager and ready to take this on and join our familia, we’d love to hear from you for our System Administrator - Anaplan role!

About you:

    • Much like Sherlock Holmes, The Mystery Gang, or Nancy Drew, you’re known for your quick ability to solve any problem! People come to you for help with complex issues because they know you won’t bat an eye.
    • You’ve got a Juntos es Mejor (Together is Better) attitude through and through. This is why you’re exceptional at communicating and working with teammates—cross functionally and beyond!
    • “Reflection makes for better collaboration,” you always say. And while you know that “there’s no ‘I’ in Team,” you recognize the importance of independent time to work, create, and get chip done!
    • Your planner, desktop, and calendar are color-coded and organized by category, so you never miss a beat! You’ve got a load of impressive tools under your belt for solving problems and beating deadlines, too.

What you will do:

    • Administer and maintain the Anaplan sales and ops forecasting platform, including user access management, model building, data integration, and security configurations.
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective task requirements for model builders.
    • Maintain the Anaplan project roadmap to support planning, forecasting, reporting, and other business processes.
    • Work with the team to streamline our forecasting process and improve forecast accuracy.
    • Perform quality assurance on new features developed by model builders.
    • Support the development of data integration solutions to connect Anaplan with other systems and data sources, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
    • Monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimizations to enhance the efficiency and reliability of the Anaplan environment.
    • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users, addressing issues related to Anaplan functionality, data integrity, and system performance.
    • Stay informed about new Anaplan features and best practices, proactively recommending updates and enhancements to maximize the value of the platform.
    • Document system configurations, processes, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and maintain system integrity.
    • Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams on system integrations, upgrades, and migrations, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure and applications.
    • Act as a subject matter expert on Anaplan, providing training and support to end-users and promoting adoption across the organization.

Your experience:

    • Experience analyzing and restructuring data with Excel or Google Sheets is required
    • Experience with data modeling, business process optimization, and financial planning concepts is strongly preferred
    • Experience with project management tools such as Asana, Trello, Jira or Monday preferred
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Computer Science, Data Science or related field preferred
    • Experience with forecast/statistical models is a plus
    • 2 years of experience as a system administrator or similar role, preferably with a focus on planning systems is a plus
