We are seeking a highly motivated Audit Remediation and Financial Improvement & Audit Readiness (FIAR) Analyst to support the Department of the Air Force’s ongoing audit readiness efforts. This role will provide essential audit liaison services, execute corrective action plans, support internal control testing, and develop reporting for high-level governance forums. The ideal candidate will be organized, analytical, and skilled at coordinating across diverse stakeholder groups within the DoD enterprise.

Required Skills:
·         Bachelors
·         Active Secret Clearance
·         1-3 years of experience with DoD Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation (FIAR) initiatives to support the financial statement audit
·         Familiarity with General Property, Plant, and Equipment (GPP&E) and Operating Materials & Supplies (OM&S) asset management systems, business processes, and internal controls.
·         Assist in evaluating and improving data quality within Accountable Property Systems of Record (APSRs), ensuring alignment with audit readiness objectives.
Desired Skills:
·         Prior experience conducting inventory observations, inventory testing, or supporting physical counts in support of audit readiness initiatives.

$90,000 - $100,000 a year
At Significance, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location.

The salary range listed is for the level at which this job has been scoped. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply.
