We are looking to hire a Instructional Designer to join us at Sign In Enterprise (formerly Traction Guest). In this role, you will design and produce high quality, engaging learning solutions for customers, internal stakeholders and leadership.

You will be responsible for the building of training content and materials for various delivery channels including Instructor-led, eLearning or self-directed learning to support the application and sustainment of learning for participants. Bring creative and innovative approaches as you collaborate with key stakeholders to continuously improve learning experiences.

This role is a hybrid role based in Vancouver, BC.

    • Post-secondary education in Education, English, Business or a related field; with experience in a learning and enablement role OR Certificate/Diploma in Instructional Design and/or curriculum development, Technical Communication or a related program; with experience in learning and enablement
    • 3-5 years learning and enablement experience and/or technical communications experience in a technology environment
    • Strong organizational, writing, presentation, facilitation and instructional design background – video creation/production experience a plus
    • Experience with learning management systems and how to leverage them successfully in an organization 
    • Ability to work independently and effectively on multiple projects
    • Proficiency in delivering, assessing, and anticipating challenge areas in learning from a learner’s perspective
    • Understanding of project management processes and methodologies (i.e. waterfall, agile, hybrid)Familiarity with media editing software and recording best practices is a plus

What You Will Be Doing:

    • Create and coordinate on demand video, documentation and instructor-led content and curriculum across the LMS and Help Center
    • Consult with SIS leads to ensure accuracy and relevance of content to training
    • Work with subject matter experts and identify target audience training needs
    • Learn product functionality and use cases for the SIS products
    • Support the internal training and development needs of our teams
    • Facilitate the maintenance of training and instructional materials
    • Deliver instructor-led training content to both customers, partners, and internal teams
