Job Duties

    • Executive Support & Coordination
    • Serve as the CMO/CIO’s chief deputy, translating high-level vision into actionable strategies across physician operations and innovation programs.
    • Act as a thought partner on organizational development, innovation deployment, and long-range planning.
    • Represent the CMO/CIO in internal and external meetings, ensuring alignment and follow-through.
    • Oversee a seasoned physician support team responsible for day-to-day functioning of the physician group.
    • Lead administrative operations related to clinical governance, compliance, and quality assurance.
    • Coordinate cross-functional projects involving radiologists, technologists, and administrative staff.
    • Support the implementation of clinical protocols and regulatory standards.

Clinical Strategy & Physician Organization

    • Partner with physician leadership to strengthen operational excellence across a large nationwide radiology group.
    • Develop strategies to optimize physician engagement, recruitment, and retention in alignment with SimonMed’s growth.
    • Support governance, quality, and compliance initiatives while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
    • Oversee SOP and policy development to ensure alignment with clinical productivity metrics.
    • Collaborate with medical leadership and HR to maintain transparent, equitable, and compliant policies.

Innovation Strategy & Deployment

    • Collaborate with innovation, clinical, and technology teams to design, pilot, and scale new programs.
    • Track progress of innovation initiatives and ensure timely execution across multiple service lines.
    • Provide performance insights and outcome analysis to inform adoption and strategic decision-making.

Program & Project Management

    • Lead cross-functional initiatives that bridge physician operations, business objectives, and clinical innovation.
    • Oversee strategic projects from conception through national rollout, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.

Analytics & Strategic Insights

    • Partner with analytics teams to evaluate physician productivity, operational performance, and innovation outcomes.
    • Deliver data-driven recommendations to the CMO/CIO to optimize efficiency and clinical impact.
    • Prepare executive-level reports for the Board, senior leadership, and regulatory bodies.

Leadership

    • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
    • Lead, mentor, and develop team members to consistently achieve performance goals.
    • Deliver timely, constructive feedback, recognizing achievements and addressing performance issues when needed.
    • Assess staffing requirements and partner with HR to recruit, hire, and seamlessly onboard new employees.
    • Cultivate a positive, patient first-driven workplace culture that reflects the company’s mission and vision.
    • Make strategic, well-justified decisions in alignment with organizational policies and objectives.
    • Direct operational, budgetary, and financial activities within area of responsibility.

Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
    • 8-10 years of experience in business and/or health care administration, preferably in imaging or clinical settings.
    • Experience working directly with physician leadership.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Strong understanding of radiologic services, clinical workflows, and regulatory requirements
    • Exceptional organizational, communication and leadership skills
    • Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment.
    • Proficiency in health care/radiology management systems.
