As our SB growth ambitions continue to take hold, we are looking for a high caliber individual to join our finance team as a Senior Financial Planning Analyst. This individual will report into a Senior Finance Business Partner (FBP) and lead the reporting of weekly and monthly business results as well as support FBP’s in identifying and investigating any changes in trends. We are looking for a candidate with a strong sense of initiative, keen eye for detail, and an ability to find solutions in the face of ambiguity.

As a Senior Financial Planning Analyst you will:

    • Work closely with various functional groups and their leaders including, but not limited to, Marketing, Commercial and Insurance Product
    • Ad hoc analysis of real-time trends and results, working individually and/or with our Data and Analytics team where appropriate
    • Create scenario analyses and underlying support to help FBPs and functional leaders in short-, mid- and long- strategy discussions

    • Own the end to end process for performance reporting for your respective functions, including:
    • Preparation of finance reporting packs, synthesizing key variances and drivers, and communicating to the business to help drive results. This will require ad hoc analysis and regular communication with Finance Business Partners and business leaders to explore trends and unexplained variances 
    • Preparation of monthly trading meeting materials, equipping business leaders to discuss recent results and expectations for the month ahead

    • Support FBPs and the VP of Finance in activities including but not exclusive to:
    • Expense management - host meetings with business leaders to review expense performance, providing variance analysis and explanations as well as developing views on forward looking trends
    • Budget - support the expense/headcount/revenue budgeting process for your designated functions, partnering with FBPs and business leaders to articulate expectations and key assumptions for the year head 
    • Business case evaluation - support modeling and projections for new strategic opportunities, as appropriate
