Simulmedia is looking for an experienced and dynamic IT Support Engineer with a curious and creative mindset to join our IT Support team. As an IT Support Engineer at Simulmedia, you will lead our IT support efforts, providing technical expertise and support to our employees, ensuring their technology needs are met. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve our IT infrastructure and support the company's growth.

This position is located in Lviv, Ukraine. The core team is located in Lviv and primarily works remotely with occasional team meetings in the office.
 
Responsibilities:
●      Provide technical support to employees, addressing hardware and software issues, troubleshooting problems, and resolving technical challenges promptly and effectively
●      Manage and maintain hardware assets, including computers, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals. Install, configure, and update software applications
●      Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring network connectivity and resolving network-related issues. Administer server systems and services as needed
●      Implement and enforce IT security policies, including data protection, user access controls, and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
●      Manage relationships with IT service providers, software vendors, and equipment suppliers. Procure IT equipment and software licenses as necessary
●      Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT assets, configurations, and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient support.
●      Lead or assist in IT projects, including hardware and software upgrades, system migrations, and IT infrastructure improvements
●      Provide training and guidance to employees on IT-related topics, best practices, and cybersecurity awareness
●      Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and operations, to ensure that IT solutions align with business needs
●      Stay current with emerging technologies and IT trends, making recommendations for improving the tech stack and IT processes.
● Ability to work 11 am - 8 pm EEST
 
Qualifications:
●      Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
●      5+ years of professional experience in IT support or a related role
●      Strong knowledge of IT hardware, software, and networking
●      Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems
●      Experience with cloud services (e.g., G Suite, Office 365)
●      Familiarity with IT security principles and best practices
●      Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
●      Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
●      Demonstrated leadership abilities and the ability to work independently
●      Curiosity, creativity, and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest IT trends
●      Must be able to communicate with U.S based teams
