At Sirona Medical we’re building tools for physicians to work as fast as they can think.  Many billions of patient images are acquired each year in the U.S., and nearly all of them are reviewed and diagnosed by a radiologist. In fact, 80% of healthcare data flows through radiology IT systems, and radiologists are among healthcare’s most tech-savvy and influential physicians. But they desperately need better, user-friendly software that cuts clicks and optimizes diagnostic time. As the first recruiter completely dedicated to supporting our engineering team, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the strategies and tactics we adopt to predictably and reliably hit our technical hiring targets, other key metrics and make a massive impact on the future of this company.
 
This full-time role reports directly into our Head of Recruiting. This person will work out of our gorgeous downtown San Francisco office on 2nd and Market Street at least two days a week.

Responsibilities

    • Full cycle recruitment for all engineering and data science roles at Sirona
    • Be a trusted partner to the leadership and hiring teams to implement and execute on hiring plans aligned to strategic goals and objectives
    • Sourcing active and passive candidates, screening, scheduling, negotiating, closing and helping onboard front and backend engineers and engineering managers
    • Track key recruiting and sourcing metrics and measure progress against team goals
    • Proactively communicate strategy updates and pipeline health to the engineering and recruiting leadership teams
    • Provide guidance to our engineering leaders and interview teams on how to attract, evaluate, and close top tier candidates
    • Develop unique sourcing strategies for the team to surface underrepresented candidates 

Requirements

    • 5+ years experience in an in-house technical recruiter role with a focus on software engineering roles
    • Experience working in a high-growth, rapidly changing environment
    • A high level of ownership, grit and attention to detail
    • A track record of successfully partnering with hiring managers and team, influencing successful hiring outcomes and positive candidate experiences
    • An ability to identify what differentiates a mediocre engineering candidate from a good engineering candidate from a great engineering candidate
    • Proficient with creating, modifying and using Boolean search strings and other sourcing tactics and tools to build candidate pipelines
    • A strong desire to meet or exceed goals and objectives while being part of a kind group of people that like to have fun while working hard to improve healthcare!
