Payments in construction are fundamentally broken — the antiquated billing process hasn't evolved in decades, and construction is one of the slowest industries to get paid in. 🕺 The Role

As Siteline's first full-time Head of Sales, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing the full sales cycle for an early stage, high-growth startup as well as building and managing a high-velocity inside sales team.

While we're still early, our customers LOVE the solution and we're seeing great momentum. One customer was able to go on vacation for the first time in two years because of Siteline. Another asked to sign a 10-year contract. We've sparked something meaningful and need someone (you!) to come pour fuel on the fire.

In this role, you'll work closely with Siteline's Marketing, Construction Solutions, Product, Leadership, and other teams. As the leader of the sales org, you'll also set the tone and culture of the organization for years to come.

🎒 Responsibilities

    • Strategy: Develop and implement a sales strategy to exceed revenue targets and expand customer base
    • Team Leader: Build, train, and lead a high-performing remote team of AEs, SDRs, and managers to support ambitious growth objectives
    • Playbook: Refine sales playbook and processes
    • Operations: Oversee the creation of reports and key sales metrics, including accurate forecasting and pipeline management. Evaluate the sales tool stack and adopt new tools to maximize leverage.
    • Visibility: Effectively communicate key successes, challenges, pipeline, and forecasts to the team
    • Collaboration: Collaborate with Marketing to create collateral, campaigns, and positioning. Collaborate with Construction Solutions on customer happiness, renewals, customer onboarding & implementation, and expanding industry presence. Collaborate with Product and leadership on new initiatives to accelerate growth.
    • Culture: Create a culture of winning and continuous improvement

👀 What We're Looking For

    • 8+ years of experience in progressively senior commercial leadership roles within B2B SaaS, preferably selling to commercial construction
    • Strong track record and at least 2+ years of building and leading high-performance mid-market inside sales teams. Ideally has managed teams of 15+ reps and 1 or more managers.
    • 2+ years in a fast-paced startup or high growth sales environment, and excitement to do it again
    • Knowledge of CRMs, email automation platforms, conversational intelligence software, and other tools
    • Fearless and effective sales skill coach who can hold reps accountable
    • Ability to work well with ambiguity, solve problems, and think on your feet
    • Inspirational and professional communication skills across any medium
    • Passion for process improvements, and ability to see those through to completion
    • Strong metrics orientation with a proven methodology to set achievable goals, regularly measure productivity/progress, and adjust in real-time
