Payments in construction are fundamentally broken — the antiquated billing process hasn't evolved in decades, and construction is one of the slowest industries to get paid in. 🕺 The Role

Siteline is looking for our first Construction Solutions Manager. Using your experience in the construction industry, you will have a huge influence on Siteline's growth. You'll be a trusted resource to our customers and play an essential role in setting them up for success by understanding their needs and processes. We are looking for a quick learner, as you will be involved in many aspects of our fast-growing company.

You'll work closely with our Head of Construction Solutions, Product Development, Account Executives, and CEO. Our founders come from companies like Stripe, Apple, and Google, and one is a serial entrepreneur with multiple exits under their belt. They are invested in each individual's personal growth, so this is an incredible opportunity to transition to the tech industry and learn from some of the best early-stage startup practitioners. This role can be done in the San Francisco office, or anywhere in the US.

🎒 Responsibilities

    • Solutions Engineer: Team up with account executives to consult on client processes, use your construction experience and knowledge to become a trusted advisor to potential customers to help close the deal.
    • Implementation: Onboard new customers into the system. You'll provide boots on the ground support, advising and guiding them through successful adoption with training sessions and check-in's.
    • Customer Success: You'll play an enormously important role by ensuring that customers get the most out of the product, making people feel well-supported. Proactively engage with customers on product usage and education, and fix issues before they happen.
    • Account Management: Work closely with existing customers to ensure they get maximum value out of Siteline and become loud advocates. With your guidance, contract renewal is a no-brainer for our customers. Manage the rollout of new products and features throughout.
    • Collaborate with the product development team: Help the design and development team get all of the nuances right. Not only will you bring your personal industry experience to bear, you'll communicate feedback from our existing and potential customers back to the team.

👀 What we are looking for

    • Construction experience: You speak the language of the PM's, PX's, PE's, coordinators/admins, and project accountants that we serve. You understand the billing process and activities on the job site. Perhaps you acquired this experience as a Project Engineer, Project Manager, Accountant, consultant in the industry, or customer facing role at a construction technology company.
    • Strong communicator: We are laser-focused on creating an incredible customer experience, so each member of the team has a customer-first mentality. You will be working directly with our customers and representing our company in your communication. Just like our founders, you pick up the phone whenever customers have an issue or question and you are able to empathize with them as you logically guide them to a solution. At the same time, you communicate customer needs internally to the product development team.
    • Relationship Builder: You enjoy developing relationships and can collaborate effectively with a wide range of constituents. You'll regularly interact with contractor executives, accountants, and all members of the Siteline team.
    • Organized: In this role and in Siteline's high growth environment, you will need to adapt to change and be comfortable wearing multiple hats. You will be pulled in multiple directions, but you are organized and have a track record of juggling multiple tasks on complex projects, so you can systematically put out each fire.
